The Bowl & Bund Method

Step 1: Site assessment and preparation

Assess the terrain to identify slopes, runoff patterns, and areas requiring vegetation.
Prepare the land to ensure the Bowl & Bund structures are placed strategically.

Step 2: Implementation excavation of bowls and construction of bunds

Using a unique round excavator bucket, we create shallow, bowl-shaped depressions in the soil. These bowls capture and retain water, slowing down surface runoff and preventing erosion.
Form small, crescent-shaped mounds (bunds) on the downhill side of each bowl. Bunds hold water within the bowls longer, allowing more time for water to absorb into the soil.

Step 3: Runoff Control and Soil Formation

The bowls retain rainwater, which gradually seeps into the soil, reducing flood risk and managing silt.
Over time, nutrients, seeds, and organic matter collect in the bowls, aiding soil formation and vegetation growth.
